High-performance coatings for medical equipment
We offer coated products for needles and thin wires. In particular, it is possible to apply a coating on the surface of stainless steel. Here, we introduce polyester-based silicon as the main coating agent, which is widely used in the medical device field. This material has the following characteristics and is suitable for various applications.
- Insulation function：Can be applied to parts that do not want to conduct electricity
- Low friction：With improved sliding and low friction coefficient
- Chemical resistance：Highly resistant to chemicals and suitable for long-term use
Features of functional coatings
1. Insulating properties
It prevents electrical conduction in specific areas and is compatible with products that require electrical properties.
2. Chemical resistance
The specifications are less susceptible to the effects of chemicals and corrosive substances in medical sites and industrial applications.
3. Low coefficient of friction
Product life is extended by improving abrasion resistance to sliding parts and areas where friction occurs.
4. Cytotoxicity tests
The coating has been tested for cytotoxicity and has proven to release a cytotoxic concentration in 24-hour permanent contact.
