Spinal disc herniation
Spinal disc herniation, also called prolapse of nucleus pulposus due to rupture of fibrous ring of lumbar intervertebral disc. The main clinical characteristic includes radiating pain in the waist and legs as well as movement disorders. It is a disease caused by irritation or constriction to the nerve root, blood vessel, spinal cord or other tissues due to rupture of fibrous ring and prolapse of nucleus pulposus under external force after degenerative lesion occurs in the lumbar intervertebral disc. The lesion location is mostly in waist 4-5, with waist 5-sacrum 1 comes second, and rarely in waist 3-4.
